PPP govt issued visas to 149,458 Americans in four years

ISLAMABAD: The PPP government issued visas to 149,458 Americans to visit Pakistan during the last four years.

The information was provided in the National Assembly on a question asked by PML-N legislator Khalid Mansoor, who asked the details of total number of Americans to whom the visas for Pakistan had been issued from March 16th, 2008 to-date, and also the cities for which those visas were issued.

However, in a written reply to the question, Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar only informed the House that so far 149,458 Americans were issued Pakistani visas during the period from March 16th, 2008 to-date. In her written reply, Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar did not give the details of the cities for which Pakistani visas were issued.
