One year ago in March 2011
the initiation of air operations over Libya to enforce UN Security Council
Resolution 1973 began the latest chapter in a historic partnership between the
air forces of the UK, France and the US among other fellow airmen. In the
aftermath of 2011 Libya operations we have been analysing the role our air
forces played in the operation before NATO assumed the lead
